    Dancing Shapes: Color Series 1

I know it has been a long time, but I'm back. What better post than to share what I've been up to with printmaking?

I tend to steer away from the computer in my printmaking. It is much less stressful for me and its a much-needed break from pixel to pixel designs. What started as a set of paper cutouts and a lovely palette of colors, turned into a beautiful color story that truly transitions across the page. There is no rhyme or reason to where the shapes fall, but I love how they jump and jive across the page from one iteration to another. This page by page still animation has inspired me for future series and I look forward to playing with more moving shapes when I'm back in the studio this fall.

I printed 5x7" 2 color screenprints on Speckletone French Paper.
